Born in 1986, Run Jiang is a Chinese artist based in Lisbon.
She graduated from China Academy of Art (2009) and obtained her master’s degree in plastic arts with Jury’s Congratulations from Marseille Fine Art School (2013).
She received a Mart art residency scholarship in Lisbon (2017-2018). In 2017, she was selected as an artist for the 11th Amadeo de Souza-Cardoso Prize (Portugal) and was one of the nominees for The FID Prize (France).
She has shown her work in Portugal and elsewhere, including the National Institute for Graphic Design in Rome and the National Museum of Contemporary Art in Lisbon.
Her work was collected by many institutions, including Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, Gulbenkian Art Library, Camões Institution, and Rome University “Tor Vergata.”
