Come and join our kids’ activities at O Gabinete de Madame Thao. Throughout the year, our gallery hosts a variety of activities, including exhibitions, art sessions, workshops, and art courses for kids as part of our “o little gabinete” program. As part of our program, we also invite group classes to visit our art studio for engaging tours and offer custom-tailored, themed art activities directly at your chosen location.
2026 autumn art camp
THE MYSTERIOUS WORLD – Autumn Art Camp (October 19 – 23 or 26 – 30/2026)
A creative adventure for children into the strange, magical & unexpected!
This autumn, your children will step into an enchanted universe where they become artists, explorers, and inventors. Through drawing, painting, sculpture, collage, and storytelling, they will create their own imaginary worlds—ending with a special family exhibition in our “Mysterious Museum”!
Weekly Journey: Mon: What Lives in the Shadows? (Mysterious Creatures) 🌿 Tue: The Enchanted Botanical Garden (Impossible Plants) 🧪 Wed: The Mysterious Laboratory (Potions & Curious Objects) 🏚️ Thu: The House of Secrets (Imaginary Architecture) ✨ Fri: Welcome to the Mysterious Museum! Art Classes for Children
This year, our art classes will revisit the fundamentals of drawing and introduce children to a variety of artistic techniques, inspired by the work of modern and contemporary artists, as well as by the exhibitions presented throughout the year at O Gabinete de Madame Thao.
Children will also discover an ecological approach to art-making: experimenting with recycled and natural materials, handmade paper, homemade colours and brushes…
A playful space to experiment, create, observe and develop a personal artistic language, while discovering that art can also be made with care for our environment.
