About the teacher:
Radina is an illustrator, graduated in Book Design and Printed Graphic at the National Academy of Art of Sofia (Bulgaria) and in Graphic Design at the Escuela Superior de Arte y Diseño de Andalucía (Spain).
Workshop Outline:
Introduction to Illustration:
Brief overview of what illustration is and its importance in storytelling.
Introduction to different illustration styles and techniques.
Drawing Fundamentals:
Basic drawing exercises focusing on lines, shapes, and forms, texture, color theory.
Step-by-step guidance on sketching simple characters and objects.
Storytelling
Interactive storytelling activity where children create their own short stories or scenes.
   Guidance on translating stories into visual narratives through illustration.
Creating a small book:
Folding papers
Small talk about paper and different kinds of books, focusing on how they are made.
Showcase and Wrap-Up:
Sharing of artwork created during the workshop.
Reflection on the creative process and what participants learned.
