Everyone should be allowed to discover art, and the youngest always have much to express. Your aspiring little artist will love drawing in our artist studio/gallery at LX Factory.
5 sessions of 2 hours each (Monday to Friday from 10am to 12pm) to learn to observe and understand shapes, volume, proportions and light, and to master and free our gestures.
Each session will begin with a presentation of a work of art or an artistic movement that the children will be invited to comment on.
A technique to work on will then be explained, and the children will put it into practice around a given theme.
About the teacher:
Sandrine is a French-Vietnamese artist who graduated from the Nice (France) Fine Arts School.
Her work has been presented in numerous exhibitions in Asia, Europe, and the United States, including the Singapore, Shenzhen, and Macau Biennales, the contemporary art centers Yerba Buena in San Francisco, Ke Art in Shanghai, Palais de Tokyo in Paris, ARKO in Seoul and The Mistake Room in Los Angeles…
She has also taught visual arts in several international schools and has accompanied high school students in their preparation for entrance exams to art school.
Sandrine has been living in Lisbon for three years and founded O Gabinete de Madame Thao.
